With a toddler and a newborn on the way, a First Aid & CPR course was on our ‘list to do’ for such a long time until a friend’s child had a nasty accident and it led us to realise just how important medical skills can be - should we ever (touch wood) be in the position to use them.  So along with some friends, we enrolled and since learning these new skills, we definitely now feel a sense of peace with our newfound knowledge.  

Our helper also attended the specialised helper’s course for babies and toddlers which to us was extremely important for her to know these skills as well.  Thanks Peter!

I sent my two helpers to Asia Medical services Ltd because I found their course offering to be the most thorough and professional. The classes were small enough for individual attention, the manual and testing very informative and the hours suited our needs.  Both helpers enjoyed the classes and I am confident they can now handle an emergency situation should I not be home with my children.
The childcare course is ideal for someone who needs a refresher as well as those who have little to no experience with infants. It’s a great combination.

“As expectant parents we were very keen to get some basic CPR and first aid knowledge, especially relating to infants/children. Asia Medical Services came to our home and provided this in a relaxed yet professional manner. Using CPR dummies and actually generating mock up accident scenes it really helped us learn the correct methods to deal with medical situations for all age groups. We felt comfortable asking lots of questions, however silly they sounded and found the responses easy to understand and informative. The courses are very well-conducted with an instructor who obviously has years of experience behind him. The lessons are well-explained and involve extensive practical exercises. Apart from knowing how to react in the event our child chokes or breaks a limb, the course has also taught us how to child-proof our house and made us more aware of the general aspects of safety. The course was also conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with each of us given the opportunity to ask as many questions as possible. But what I perhaps appreciated most was the additional attention that Peter paid to our helper, ensuring that she is familiar with each first-aid gesture, knowing that she spends most of the week alone with our child.  I now feel more at ease as a working mother.

I organized the CPR course to be taught by Mr. Peter Sommer of Asia Medical Services Ltd, for most of the instructors on my team which is a compulsory and vital part of our training.

Not only did Peter teach the material in an easy to understand and friendly manner which we all appreciated, we all learnt more in questions and answers session and a bonus knowledge gained from a set up scenario which was an excellent way to learn from our own mistakes.  The short course was so enjoyable that even the written test at the end was done at no pressure at all.    

There is no match anywhere in Hong Kong to Peter's teaching and I am definitely looking forward in attending other courses such as First Aid.     

Due to the large amount of instructors attending the CPR course, we are very glad that Peter could arrange to teach the course at our gym in the comfort of our studio. I have already put a date in for my team to renew their CPR certification at Asia Medical Services Ltd. 

We sent our helpers to Asia Medical Services to learn CPR and basic first aid when our twins were babies.  Our helpers found the course very useful and informative.  It taught them how to minimise dangers for the children and how to care for them in an emergency.  We also sent them on a refresher course when the boys were a bit older.  It has given us more confidence when leaving the twins at home under the care of our helpers when we are not there.  We also used the company to refresh our own memories when my husband needed an up to date CPR certificate to go sailing.
